Where the office's time actually goes
Ask a club secretary or pro shop where the day goes and the answer is rarely "deep work". It is:
- the phone: "have you got anything Saturday?", "what's the green fee?"
- society and group enquiries that take five emails to pin down a date
- "how much is membership?", answered differently depending on who picks up
- members asking what time the kitchen closes
- writing up competition results
- rota changes and swaps
What AI takes off the list
Job | Without AI | With Cadd-AI |
|---|---|---|
Tee time phone calls | Staff answer and book | Cadd-AI answers the phone and WhatsApp and books from the live sheet |
Society enquiries | Email back and forth | Taken from enquiry to a confirmed booking |
Membership quotes | Staff work it out | Exact quote from the club's own categories and payment plans |
"Is the kitchen open?" | Phone the bar | Answered from the club's hours and menu |
Competition write-ups | Someone writes them on Sunday night | An AI-written report from the actual scores |
Staff rota | Texts and a spreadsheet | Staff check, swap and book time off on WhatsApp |
"How did we do this month?" | Export and a spreadsheet | Ask in plain English, answered from the club's own data |
What AI should not do
AI should not decide anything the club has not decided. In nooQ, Cadd-AI books only what the tee sheet's rules allow, quotes only the club's own prices, and reports a booking or payment only once the system has confirmed it. Anything outside that goes to a person.
Where to start
Start with the phone and WhatsApp, because that is where most repetitive time goes, then society enquiries, then membership quotes. Each one is switched on separately, so the club can see the effect of one before adding the next.
