1. One live sheet, every channel
If the app, the website and the pro shop each read their own copy, sooner or later two people get the same tee time. Ask any supplier whether every channel reads the same live sheet. In nooQ, a booking is confirmed only once it is committed to that sheet, and nothing is reported to a member as booked before then.
2. Fair allocation at release time
Saturday morning times released at 7pm on a Sunday are the busiest minutes of the club's week. Fastest-finger-first rewards the member with the quickest broadband, not the one who has waited longest. nooQ can allocate contested times fairly: members register interest in a window, and times are allocated by rules the club sets, with ties broken by who has gone longest without a comparable time.
3. Protected member times
Every club has times that belong to members. They should be enforced by the system, not by the pro shop remembering, so that no visitor booking, society or package can land in them.
4. A waiting list that actually works
When a time frees up, the next person on the waiting list should be offered it, in the order they joined, with the time held for them, not a text that sets off a race. nooQ's waiting list is first-come, first-offered, and the slot is held before anyone is told.
5. Visitors who can book and pay
Visitors should see what they can book, pay a deposit or in full by card, and get a confirmation without ringing the club. Society bookings should be taken online or by Cadd-AI rather than by email.
6. The questions members ask
"Anything for two on Saturday?" is a question, not a form. A booking system that can answer it on WhatsApp or the phone takes calls off the pro shop. How Cadd-AI books tee times.
7. Works with what you have
Many clubs run competitions and handicaps in ClubV1 or Golf Genius. nooQ works with both, so the tee sheet can change without everything else changing at once. How to move from ClubV1.
